Dr. Tom McDougal is a 30 year veteran of the healthcare industry including more than 23 years as a hospital and health system CEO. He holds a Doctorate degree in Healthcare Administration in addition to Master Degrees in both Healthcare Administration and Business Administration. His experience includes hospitals, health systems, physician practices, ASCs, Freestanding ERs, Imaging Centers, Home Health, Hospice, ACOs, and Integrated Networks. As an executive, he has led for profit, non profit, governmental, and teaching organizations. Dr. McDougal has special training and expertise in negotiation, relationship development, physician alignment, finance, economics, and strategy development and execution. Over his career, he has also published books on healthcare negotiations, and healthcare economics. Now, Dr. McDougal through Badlands invests in physicians and innovative organizations across the healthcare landscape on a national level.
